Normally, wrestling has eight regional tournaments & the state tournament.
In this crazy year though.... the KHSAA has added four semi-state meets following the regional meets.
The semi-state meets are gonna serve as state tournament bouts and towards team points for the team state title, but will be held in four different locations. There was no reason to use the horse park this year with a limited capacity. The one-day state tournament is a good idea given the current situation.

Region 2 - Owensboro Apollo
Region 3 - Fern Creek
Region 4 - Waggener
Region 5 - Scott County
Region 6 - Ryle
Region 7 - Madison Central
Region 8 - Martin County

Semi-State date: 3/20
Semi-State 1 - (Regions 1 & 2) Owensboro Apollo 
Semi-State 2 - (Regions 3 & 4) Waggener
Semi-State 3 - (Regions 5 & 6) Ryle
Semi-State 4 - (Regions 7 & 8) Martin County

State tournament date: 3/27
