They are scared to death of that sorry con man.  Are you afraid of him Cardsfan1?   I'm not afraid of him. Nancy doesn't seem afraid of him?  Maybe it's just Republicans. Particularly, Republicans with fanciful fantasies of living at 1600 PA Ave. Ain't gonna happen. If you're scared of the Apprentice guy that's headed for jail , you're not president material.

What they are afraid of is his block of voters, i.e. his cult.  They are only concerned with getting reelected, and as with most politicians, everything else is secondary.  When the U.S. Govt. was set up, career politicians was not a part of the plan.
