For a real impeachment trial, the U.S. Constitution requires the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to preside over the trial. The fact that this sham trial is presided over by one of the biggest partisan hacks in the Senate is no strawman. Chief Justice Roberts wisely chose not to join the circus trial. As I said, you have no issue with a biased process as long as it is biased against Donald Trump. You have made that very clear. Objecting to Cruz and Graham meeting with the defense attorneys is incredibly petty of you.

You know the Senator presiding over this conviction trial isn’t doing anything, yet you try to make it equal to “impartial jurors” participating in the defense of Trump.
