According to reports, Donald Trump is very unhappy with the performance of his defense team today. The NYT said the orange ex-President is enraged by his defense lawyers' meandering performance. Historian Michael Beschloss said it's the worst legal representation ever received by a U.S. President. GOP Sen. Bill Kassidy said the defense did a "terrible job." The Trump defense has been almost universally trashed, with the exception of our own Mr. Gibson, who rates the Trump team as a collection of some of the greatest legal minds ever assembled. Does our friend Hoot see something in the bumbling barristers that no one else does?
