^^ Paintsville can throw but has been so dominant on defense the past two games that ground and pound and amazing defense has been the blueprint. Having Hyden in the backfield is a difference maker. Hyden (7), Phelps, Hyden (24) and Poe running the ball is a lot for 1A teams to deal with.

I mean absolutely no disrespect to KCD but they aren’t 2019 Pikeville.

I do agree KCD will have to do something other than their base offense. However, Kroger Field ain’t exactly the place to try to do stuff you aren’t comfortable with to begin with.

Considering Pikeville won in a blowout KCD doesn’t have to be 2019 Pikeville to win, and whether it’s by 1 or 100 in a state championship a win is a win.
