Damn...my poor Ol Rams suck so bad this year there not even being talked about in their own thread hahah

Man we’re these Paintsville/Raceland threads not the Greatest! There would be 6/7 pages of non stop back and forth from RAMDAD, Anotherfootballnut, Scotty Bronson, RamDevil and evening Blaze would loft a few  shots over the bow! Lol. I do miss those days!

This has always been a fun rivalry and even though we give each other hell from time to time for the most part you Paintsville folks are good people that love their football as much as we do.  

Raceland is in a slump right now but I think that happens to most small town 1A programs from time to time.  We will be back on the thick of things again, it will just take some time.

I know no one is giving us a chance in this one and I will agree that we are tremendous underdogs but I look for Raceland to give their best effort of the season in this one.  Raceland has played a brutal schedule to this point and they won’t be intimidated by Paintsville.  I think we will struggle matching up with Paintsville’s size and strength and we will have to rely a lot on our speed and finding an edge to move the ball effectively.

One thing I noticed with Paintsville in the West Carter game is that they leave a lot of open space in the off tackle areas of their defense.  I’m not saying Raceland can do this but if they come across a team that has a good offensive line that can trap block well I think they may be in trouble somewhere down the road.
