Beshear plans to bring back state-based healthcare exchange Kynect
"Governor Andy Beshear submitted a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) declaring his intentions to transition to a state-based healthcare exchange in January 2022. He said a state-based exchange will provide more flexibility than the federal system and save Kentuckians money."
Kynect was Steve Beshear's response to Obamacare for which Kentucky was virtually proclaimed Obamacare's poster child.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WAVE) - Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday announced the state will begin working toward correcting racial inequalities in health care coverage, among other areas, across the state.
Andy can say whatever he wants, programs like these cost the taxpayers real money. Kentuckians are already drowning in red ink but the Governor doesn't seem to be deterred. And joy of joys, he's only just getting started. He will occupy the governor's mansion until Dec of 2023.
