THE PADUCAH SUN July 21, 2020

"Since the first week of June as many as 40,000 Kentuckians have yet to receive their unemployment insurance payments, including as many as 10,000 who filed in March at the beginning of the Corona Virus shutdowns."

The article starts off calling out the executive orders which cost 300,000 Kentuckians their livelihoods. But of course, this is all Washington's fault

FRANKFORT, Ky. —
"Gov. Andy Beshear sent a dire warning about next year's budget if the state doesn't receive additional federal assistance amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Beshear spoke about the state budget during his most recent COVID-19 update Tuesday. The governor said the coronavirus has "decimated every state budget across the country." He said Kentucky will need additional stimulus to avoid "the largest cuts that we've seen in history."

According to Beshear, Kentucky could see a $1.1 billion shortfall in the next fiscal year without additional federal assistance.

"This would be like letting Kentucky go bankrupt," Beshear said.

To date, Kentucky has already received over 1.7 Billion federal tax dollars in corona virus aid money.
