With the current district alignment, we have three districts with six teams (2A Dist. 8, 3A, Dist. 5 & 5A Dist. 1). I could see the B.O.C. wanting to have a five week regular season.




This is just my guess.
Using the info given by fridaynightlights, by eliminating Weeks 0 - 5, no bye weeks and eliminating the first two rounds of the playoffs... our first Friday night under the lights would be Oct. 23rd.

Nov. 6th
Nov. 13th
Nov. 20th

Playoffs
Nov. 27th
Dec. 4th
Dec. 11th
Dec. 18th & 19th - State Finals

???
Season is supposed to begin August 21.
4 weeks late would be September 18?
What am I missing?
