It's hard to win at McCreary for a lot of reasons. Little support, one of the poorest areas in the country, no feeder system, no tradition are just a few of the big factors that keep them at the bottom. Plus, as has been mentioned above, if you have a kid that is above average at a certain sport, there is little incentive to keep them at McCreary vs. any of the other schools within a 30-45 minute drive of the area. I'm not trying to kick them while they're down, but these are all things that need to be addressed if they want to field a competitive team in any sport.

First and foremost is finding a coach that is willing to put the time in to build something there won’t be over night but someone that would spend 10 plus years building the program and putting the effort fourth to get kids out and build something. Then other things such as support will fall into place
