Politicians control policy, machinations of government, and influence the people of the nation/state. Let’s not trivialize the importance of the elected just because Trump is fumbling the ball.

Who was to blame for the Black Plaque or the Spanish flu? It seems to me that blaming people for the occurrence of epidemics is a fairly recent phenomena driven by desperate politicians and their despicable enablers.
