Russ Chadwell, Clay County Basketball. Maybe six feet tall but could throw down some incredible dunks. Not one of these guys who did nothing but dunk either-- he had some real game and was a key piece of the State Championship and State Runner-Up teams. I've heard many people who aren't from Clay County but go to the State Tournament every year talk about one of his dunks in what I believe was a Saturday morning semi-final against PRP and have heard guys who've played with him talk about him wowing everyone in a big time Christmas tournament dunk contest.

As someone who saw every game in his high school career in person, I can promise you this is right on the money. Originally signed with Austin Peay, left after one year, transferred to Georgetown College and was a two-time NAIA All-American. Kids used to line up under the Clay Co. goal for pregame warmups just to watch him dunk. He was ahead of his time.
