^This is funny. Johnson Central had a heck of an outing from Blanton. AC also had good pitching. Errors cost both teams -- prolly AC a little more than JC -- in being that an error led to the 3 run HR. AC didn't hit the ball as good as they have been, but they still hit it pretty good, and had theirselves in a situation to win the game in the end. That's all you can ask for in baseball -- put your team in a situation to win at the end. Also, AC did play without their starting catcher who has been batting over .500, and that could have made a small impact on the game -- especially in the last inning when his bat would have been in the lineup with runners on. It was an exciting game however, and a good one to watch.

When did they hit the ball pretty good? 2 legit singles and 2 infield singles in the 7th. What happened to all of those other .500+ hitters? Not trying to be smart at all but it becomes a little more difficult when you play outside the 58th district to put up those gaudy numbers.

I think the errors cost JC just a tad more, seeing that all 4 AC runs were scored off 4 JC errors.

Turner did pitch well, as did Little, and he could indeed be a very good pitcher given proper mechanical instruction.

Anyways nice game AC, and good luck the rest of the season. Some nice folks down there. Your right, it was a fun game to watch.
