Justin Blanton goes the distance for JC allowing only 4 hits (two being infield hits). All 4 Allen Central runs were unearned as Central makes 4 errors also. Freshman Chase Richardson also hits a 3 run blast to left.

Johnson Central continues to get excellent pitching out of Fyffe, Blanton, Plummer , Richardson, and Conley. Errors still continue to create major problems for the Eagles as they have sqandered away the lead in at least 12 games in the late innings. They were able to hang on tonight however.

Blanton has now only allowed 1 earned run in his last 19 innings of work. Other than a 6 run inning against Paintsville early in the season, Blanton has only allowed 5 earned runs the whole season. ERA now stands at 1.94. Minus the one bad inning, his season ERA would stand at 0.88 in 40 innings of work.
