Every successive generation comes up believing things which are progressively more untrue. Take for example this idea that the world is now so different that we must accept the overt and rampant encroachment of the homosexual lifestyle as the natural state of their uniquely individual creation, if you will. In other words God made them that way. There are two constants contained in that rationale that would have to change for that idea to become true. First, God Whom has said that He will never change, would in fact have to change.
God cannot change His mind for to do so would mean He had either been wrong about something, or is about to be wrong about something. Even worse, is the idea that men could somehow be right and The Father could somehow be wrong.
Second and this is my personal favorite, is the notion that owing to man's social/spiritual evolution, the world has changed so much that the moral basis for making determinations about what constitutes wrong behavior has become somehow outdated. Which of course is a fancy way of saying men have become so advanced that they can now challenge the Lord on matters of His law.
God cannot and will not change. Man however has and will, but only in that he will continue to sink deeper into depravity. All one must do to see that fact is to look around a bit. Crime, human feces zone maps of our major cities, government okey dokes of drug usage and all kinds of rampant immoral pursuits. The comparative list would be endless but not the least of which would be the fact that in our society there are now 63 different genders to consider. God has said "male and female created HE them," and "in HIS own image." no less. Notwithstanding, when the sun goes down it looks like Sodom and Gomorrah out there.
And for another example take what Barack Obama told his many adoring college audiences. 'Large scale conventional war is a thing of the past,' declared Mr Obama. While people on the one side shook their heads at his naïveté, they were forced to realize that the college youth believed him implicitly. So not only were the kids to whom he spoke more vulnerable than their generational predecessors, but Obama himself was in the chain, having himself been indoctrinated in the self same fashion by his liberal profs. In my view what we have here are a whole subculture of liberal converts out making converts, and even though none of them have the first darn clue what they're talking about, they are willing to die on that hill anyway. IMHO, the last generation which had the proper perspective was the one having survived WW2. They well understood how drastically things can go awry. And that's why back then the Church bells rang every Sunday morning.
So I say yes, they are more susceptible to being gullible.
