And for his trouble among many other slings and political Punji Stake pits, he got 'Cross Fire Hurricane' the Mueller Investigation' and the greatest show on earth Impeachment out of it. Everybody from Dan Coats to General Kelley have taken shot after shot at this President.

So the "both sides were tired of the establishment" part of your post is true.
