No doubt they missed McGuire, a player like that cannot be replaced. He is probably the best big in the Region, and one of the best in the state. That being said he is out for the near future at the least.
Of the players they had available, they had no inside presence with Williams out (the biggest available player), with foul trouble. Knott had virtually no rebounding on defense and as a team gave North Laurel too many second chances at the basket.
They may have not been able to win this game anyway, but with a team that shoots as good as North Laurel, you can’t give them second chances when they do miss.
