Unfortunately true. I would like to think that SV should be a slight favorite to win the region this year, but after dropping the All-A game to Paintsville, who knows? I could see any of 4, maybe 5 times teams going to Rupp this year.

All I know is this: if Hicks doesn't get that elusive regional title this year, it may be a long time before he gets another chance.

Totally agree here. Hicks has had Potter was 4 years now and that Regional Title has eluded them both. Maybe cause Pikeville had Battaile for two of those years. They were possible favored last year but lost to JC is semis. With the best player in the Region on your side this will be Hicks last chance for awhile(unless they get a transfer). Will be a fun Regional tournament for sure.
