All the teams played 3 games in two days in a great and well ran tournament. Owsley was able to go 2-1 with a loss to Harlan County and wins over East Ridge and Leslie. They didn’t have their center, Amelia Murray, available in the Harlan County and East Ridge games due to illness but she was able to play the second day.
Lady Owls are now 7-4 going into Monday’s game in Jackson vs Breathitt County. They’ve had a pretty tough schedule through the month of December but that should help them through the rest of the season.
