Well, I guess my question has been answered. A friend of mine who frequents this site as well as a competitor's site, just sent me the following. It was posted on our competitor's site.


I had a former boss of 21 years and he’s also a good friend tell me about 1 1/2 to 2 months ago that Chuck and Chris Pardue both were going to retire at seasons end and that Brandon Smith would be the next head coach at Boyle, did I mention that he fishes with Pardue on a regular basis and they’re pretty good friends, I hadn’t given it much thought until today but this guy used to be a board member at Boyle and is a reliable source, at the time I ask if this was the gospel and he said it was what he was hearing.

If it pans out it’s a big loss for Kentucky high school football as well as Boyle Co. but Chuck’s done more than his fair share to put Boyle Co on the map and cement a HOF coaching career in the process...
