The RPI did NOT have a change mid season. It was with the original plan. The only problem was is that the KHSAA did not include the "new" information in the original information about the RPI. They came out and said that this week.

No they added it because the big Louisville teams didn’t have a RPI number higher than a 1A School. So what they have done now is make it harder for 1A schools to schedule games. Why would any higher class school want to play a good 1A team that might beat them when you can play a weaker higher class team that you pretty well know you can beat. You get a higher factor number by 15% each class you go up. What they did made it worse if you could think that’s possible
