Let's crunch some numbers.

NCAA Appearances:
IU - 28
UC - 18

NCAA Tournament Wins:
IU - 52
UC - 34

Final Fours:
IU - 7
UC - 6

Overall Wins: (Same amount of seasons, both programs started in 1902)
IU - 1570
UC - 1490

And the most important of all NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:
IU - 5 (1940, 1953, 1976, 1981, 1987)
UC - 2 (1961, 1962)
