Lawerence County@ Ashland 8-16 (scrimmage )

That said, they’re going to have some difficulty handling a smash mouth running game.
But they have skill.
Lawrence County got better as the game went on and when the Ashland 1s exited it was 20-7 Tomcats. Gillispie can run and throw and has a nice receiver in Hall. Young is a bruiser at FB and the interior line seemed to perform better over the course of the scrimmage.
Overall, Ashland looks promising and LC looked like they have a good upside with some young talent.
They better get that defense fixed so they can compete with the Bell County's and Belfry's.
