Rand Paul, There You Go Again!
#1
Incredible. Rand Paul has come out promising to side with Democrats in their resolution to overturn the President's state of emergency declaration.

Now I know the good Senator is a doctor, not a constitutional lawyer. But obviously he can't SEE the forest for the trees on the matter of immigration and Presidential purview over same. In fact, he might want to trade in his eye chart for a copy of the following article published by Bloomberg, which is anything BUT conservative. It might clear up his vision issues.
HEADLINE: "Like It or Not, Trump Has Power Over Immigration Policy"
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articl...ion-policy

When the Oval Office is occupied by a Democrat no matter whose watch it is, Harry Reid or Cryin Chuck, San Fran Nan and every other Dem are all about granting power and congressional cooperation to that end. Obama for example, had no authority whatever to grant amnesty to the Dreamers, but he did it anyway. Dems are prone to stretch authority in general. In the cases of the repeal of DADT, The Affordable Care Act, and The Dreamers Act, all sorts of questionable shenanigans were employed in all sorts of devious stretches of legislative process. Not a whit of concession would they cede. But as that would apply specifically to the Executive, then President Obama declared at least 12 different state's of emergency. All of them went through unopposed.

On the other hand, now that Trump the Republican is in the Oval Office, who BTW has done nothing at all worthy of opposition, he is nonetheless cast as a renegade with mental issues. Why? Because the only thing important to Democrats and SOME RINO Republicans, is to grab ahold of and then to stay in power. But then to make matters worse, rather than to offer up correct analysis, the news agencies, their talking heads and members of the Congress alike contiunally mischaracterize the crisis. It's absolutely NOT just a matter of perception by voting bases. To put a finer point on it, the media very nearly to a man, say the President's actions and statements are always intended as a means to 'play to his base.' As if reality were completely subjective. There really are right actions, and there really are wrong actions, and reality is not as they would have us believe, past our pay grade and ability to understand so to speak. That is however how a sublimely passive American public is being treated; given a dumbed down and spoon fed version as presented by actors whom deliver subjective theatrics to the dimly lit voting 'bases.' The fore going would be my definition of the oft used term 'base ginning.' There really is an accurate and replete historical record of this nation's dealings to use as a comparison too. That's why the revisionist's are working night and day to mischaracterize the record until they can effectively change it.

Rand Paul IMHO, if he goes through with this outrage, should be compared to the last official act of betrayal by Senator John McCain when he sided with the Dems to uphold ObamaCare. It's fine to state just as oft and tersely as Senator Paul wants, about how things ought to be. But pie-in-the-sky bye and bye, or days gone by notwithstanding, we have to deal with the situation as it exists. How long are Kentucky voters going to live with his ridiculousness? I have communicated my disappointment on the matter to our Senator, I hope others will do the same.
