Powell has not beaten anyone in the 14th besides the teams in the 56th district and Buckhorn. They need to beat someone else in the 14th before they will be a contender in the region. They are 12-5, but with a super weak schedule.

And they’re playing in a super weak region.

They’ve defeated Owsley twice and Owsley has defeated Knott twice and had a 2 point loss at Leslie.

Powell has also beaten Bath, Buckhorn, East Jessamine, Estill, Morgan, Lynn Camp, Pineville, Middlesboro, Lexington Christian and Bryan Station.

As weak as the 14th region is they just as much a contender as any of the rest.
They play All A champ Wolfe in Campton tonight. We may know more about them after tonight’s game.
