If they were going to fire him they should have done this from the get go. As is they suspended him for 3 games saying that was enough.

I agree that they need to bring in someone that has no ties to the area. But even if they do that would they let him coach, or would they tell him HOW to coach. You would really have to love the game to subject yourself to that.

From what I can tell, this is a legitimate resignation and not a forced one. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out to be a forced one, but it looks like parents and fans kept piling on while he coached half a team through several blowouts.
