Pikeville falling short of expectations put upon them. When Rowe comes back for SV,there could well be 6 teams better than Pikeville in the 15th. Belfry, Pike Central, Johnson Central,Paintsville , and Floyd Central. Maybe Shelton Clark as well.

3-3 through the first 6 games, with a close 3 point loss to an undefeated Paintsville team, 21 point win over Shelby Valley, and they're underperforming to expectations? Way too early in the season to be making those kinds of calls. They currently are shooting 24% from 3 and 57% from the FT line. Those are their two biggest weaknesses right now and I fully expect Coach Orem to get that lined out. They'll be just fine. That FT % right now could be the difference in a few games. For example they were only 20-35 at the line vs Paintsville (Paintsville was 23-32 from the line). Stats aren't up yet for the close loss vs Pike Central, but I bet FTs were a potential difference maker there too. Coach Orem will address it and the Lady Panthers will be fine. It's a marathon, not a sprint, and they currently sit 1-0 in district play.
