French ended Dudley’s hs career for a few years. Then the feds ended Dudley’s career at Upike. Then the extravaganza between filming scrimmages at Taylor and taking the deal with the devil in a blue dress began and recruitapalooza. And here we sit as the world turns. Lol. Should be interesting. In other news. Whitley hasn’t replaced Chappell yet - kind of a shocker, this could be a good job really in truthfully. Corbin is waiting to see what happens between Greer going downtown and Mills and Russell both looking elsewhere. Any more exciting news? Several mountain coaches -that give the image of being happy at their schools have put in for both the Middlesboro and Whitley jobs- testing the waters or serious interest? Time will tell I’d say. Any more mountain news.

Estill County hasn’t drawn much attention. I’m hearing David Jones to Bourbon is a strong possibility as not much interest is being shown (understandable with the new district). Bullit East will be an interesting hire as they have a football guy doing the hiring. Could they bring THE Mike Settles back from Boyle?

Doug Preston of Franklin Simpson has blasted U of L and kudos to him for standing up for what is right for kids. Colleges shouldn’t promise one thing and change within days of signing on the line. Not right.

Has anyone heard anything more on the T. Duffy case and / or the Central Lawsuit? Interesting times in HS Football. Those two situations don’t sound favorable from the outside looking in.

I think this year was the best finals in the last 10-15 years top to bottom. Maybe the Cats can figure it out in basketball and give us something to carry us over til football next fall. Let’s see how a few of these play out the next two weeks.
