Yeah I've seen those arguments. Franklin was a key leader involved with the formation of America. I doubt that Tocqueville could have jumped to that deep an analysis of our infant culture even before Franklin did. Regardless which one of them said it first, the impact and accuracy of the thought was prophetic. We're seeing it all go down in real time. :biggrin:
