I think Powell might win this one. Casey lost their big lineman and seem to have replaced them with younger guys. Their center is very good, and their older lineman seem to hold their own (right guard and right tackle). But they are fairly small across the board, offensive and defensive line. Powell isn't particularly great either, but I like how hard Skidmore runs the ball. Casey linebackers couldn't seem to find him last year was their problem. Not sure what was wrong there...Against us (Corbin), they played outstanding, and even worried me hitting Sizemore a few times. Against the much lesser Powell, they hesitated, and/or were totally on the wrong side of the play! Imo if Casey's young lineman can match their more experienced players, they might pull it off.

Powell lost 2 great guards and that may really help Casey here. Skidmore has trucked along to the tune of almost 2000 yards, but I don't think our linebackers will be fooled this time. I think those guys will come out to play. I also see some things going on with the D line that can help get the job done. I still think this one will be touch and go. I 100% agree Casey played you guys way better than what they did with Powell. It was just an inspiration thing, and maybe buying into our parent's own hype of our kids, and program. We aren't simply able to step on the field and beat other teams, like a Corbin does, where the other team already thinks they don't have any hope. Truly if a good solid team can walk on the field and think they can beat Corbin, truly believe it, they can hang with them, at least for awhile. Well, Powell didn't think they were going to lose to Casey. They 100% believed they could win. And some of our folks thought that W was in the bag. Well, it wasn't. That's the thing we can never let happen, again.
