lc and jc are preseason favorites to win the 57th district,in their 1st meeting jc came out on top 11 to 7.however 8 runs were unearned as a result of lc errors.jc pitcher lafferty is consistant and does not walk many.she does not have a lot of speed-48-52,and a decent change-up.jc 3b is very good offensively and defensively,the ss moves to the ball well but does not have much arm strenth,the catcher is one of the better catchers in the area with good game know how.she blocks out good and frames good,she does not appear to have the cannon needed for throw downs.the outfield is decent but are cut-off only.they do not have the ability yet to hit home plate on a sac fly.jc beat pikeville 1-0 and pikeville finshed 3rd in the region in 05 I belive.the teams to beat in the 15th are er and sv.er is tough to score on only allowing 48 runs in 05.sv has one of the best pitchers in the state but still gave up over 75 runs in 05 and was runner up to er in 15th region.time will tell
