First of all, the last time ole fatpat drove to oosley county, google earth couldn't even pull it up on my navigation screen baby. I think the last known footstep taken in that area was during the Lewis and Clark expedition. JT said he didn't approve of any owls as a mascot. Sounds to me like oosley county is the best team in their own little world. Congrats to them. As for the Lady Pats, we will beat them as bad as we want. Could be 20, could be 40.

I like your style Fatpat, and confidence. I always get a laugh out of your jive comments. They’re the highlight of this board in my opinion. And I mean that. I always look forward to your comical memes and commentary.

But as for the Google Map comment. Hindman is the place that’s located in the backwoods hollows. Booneville is only 30 minutes to the Mt Parkway at Slade and another 60 minutes to Lexington. We’re 60 minutes to Winchester, 60 to Richmond and 45 to London. We have a peaceful, quite community and like it that way. But we can leave Owsley and be sitting in downtown Lexington or Louisville about 80 minutes quicker than Knott Countians.

I never said Knott wouldn’t or couldn’t beat Owsley or win the region. They’re going to be good. Just not as good as you think. They won’t be as good as they were last year. Too many starters to replace. They can’t name their score against Owsley or several other teams in the region. You fellows south of the Breathitt-Perry line seem to think that no one can play basketball in the northern two districts in the region. Well I think Owsley, Powell and Wolfe will be better than you’re thinking and I don’t think Knott is as good as they were last year. Probably not as good as Leslie and Hazard either. Plus Letcher will be good. There’s not a huge gap between the teams in the top 7 or 8 in the region. Certain not a “name the score” type of gap.
