"In 2015, Amazon.com Inc. began quietly evaluating a startup called Elemental Technologies, a potential acquisition to help with a major expansion of its streaming video service, known today as Amazon Prime Video. Based in Portland, Ore., Elemental made software for compressing massive video files and formatting them for different devices. Its technology had helped stream the Olympic Games online, communicate with the International Space Station, and funnel drone footage to the Central Intelligence Agency. Elemental’s national security contracts weren’t the main reason for the proposed acquisition, but they fit nicely with Amazon’s government businesses, such as the highly secure cloud that Amazon Web Services (AWS) was building for the CIA."
Can one even fathom how much info is contained within the Microsoft Cloud? What about the new Chinese made LG TV's which come ready to stream movies and the like? :yikes:

Nested on the servers’ motherboards, the testers found a tiny microchip, not much bigger than a grain of rice, that wasn’t part of the boards’ original design."

So if Bloomberg's report is proven to be correct, China may have placed rice sized microchips in everything from servers, to iphones, to gaming devices. (Gaming device components BTW, which believe it or not have actually been incorporated into US weapons platforms such as the ultra elite Virginia Class nuclear submarine.) But the overall ramifications of this rice sized microchip's presence in such sensitive equipment would indicate that it is possible, that US Intel is in the hands of the Chinese Government on a virtual real time basis. Consider for just a moment just how vulnerable we may be to Chinese aggression IF most server mother boards supplied by 'Supermicro,' have been implanted with this chip.

I pray that this is not true. Because if it is, nobody's information is secure. In fact, medical records, banking into, credit into, our nation's most sensitive secrets heck, ALL info, is in Chinese hands already. 'Made in America' and, 'Make America Great Again' don't sound quite as cheesy when framed in such terms.
