I remember well. They had a legitimate manchild running the ball....but .....the Belfry defense, led by too many to name had no problem in shutting them down. Back to the current issue at hand. It’s a definite head scratcher as to why we don’t see at least a few of these kids go both ways along the d-line. Make no mistake....Belfry runs their program like a college. Specialization is paramount. But....IMO....we cannot slow down offensives like Boyle without being able to stuff the run and pressure the QB in passing situations. You are absolutely correct my friend. Although we don't really need to now, I think we should be practicing it a little every week, playing those "Big Hogs" on the O-Line both ways just to prepare and get ready for the Corbins and Boyles in the playoffs, assuming we make it to those games. That's when we'll need them. I've said all along, we've got a couple of big backup offensive linemen on the sideline that should be playing on that D-Line instead on waiting to get reps on the O-Line. And #74 is one of them. The kid is massive! Why not put him in there beside of Baisden and see what happens?
