No way it was every bit in the 30s and a cold wind. I don’t normally get cold but that game was a little chilly. But the point is weather does have an effect. But it works both ways. Why do keep putting “Title game”? It was the TITLE GAME.

The middle school game is not a state title. It's a state tourney and a great accomplishment but not THE state title.

I can assure you the 3A title game weather had zero effect on the outcome. It was low 40's/maybe high 30's by the end but was never what I would classify as cold. Inside the stadium there was no wind.

The middle school game was sleeting/raining and windy...NOTHING like the high school game.
