It happens and I’ve witnessed it also, Boyle played a team in eastern Ky in the playoffs one year and it hadn’t rained for two weeks as we walked thru the parking lot you could kick up dust and the field was a mud hole to make a long story short Boyle went on to win the game anyway in route to a state championship.
