Final Caldwell County 37 Paducah tilghman 22
#13
TL Dude Wrote:The Hopkinsville game was essentially a one-score game until Hoptown scored late to salt it away. Caldwell had 5 empty trips into the red zone in that one with four turnovers. The other was turned over on downs at the 2. So that's a lot of points left on the table, but credit Hopkinsville for making some plays.

Crittenden isn't bad and the Caldwell game is Crittenden's big rivalry game. The LitRatings, for whatever that's worth, actually favored Crittenden. Caldwell really played pretty well in the second half of that game.

Caldwell is actually just a couple of plays away from being 6-0. It would be interesting to see how the Tigers would fare against Christian County and Hopkinsville now, but it doesn't work that way. However, I think both of those games, even in defeat, helped Caldwell get better.

Caldwell was committing a lot of turnovers and penalties the first 3-4 games. It really cleaned that up in the last two games.

Thank you. I just couldn’t figure that out. They lost to Hoptown. Both PT and Mayfield handled Hoptown. Then, they beat PT. This is a strange year though.
