You should stick to the name-calling, TRT, because you are not a very good liar. Name calling and hypocrisy are your strengths.

The truth is that, when confronted with the truth, you continued to lie and failed to cite a single source to support your ridiculous claim that 104,000 coal mining jobs were created since 2016. Not one. Now, please do resume your name calling and feeble attempt at character assassination. It's all you've got.

Right, and the truth of course is whatever you say it is, right?

Your immediate response--- "Donald Trump has done a great job easing the regulatory stranglehold that Obama's agencies had on the coal industry during Obama's War on Coal and the business climate is 100 percent better for coal than when Obama left office, but that 104,000 number is totally bogus. The number of coal miners in this country is around half that number, so there is no way that Trump has created anywhere near that number of new coal mining jobs.

I drove down the Big Sandy this morning on my way back home and the first three coal docks that I saw each had a "For Lease" sign out front and I did not see a single coal truck on U.S. 23. Obama did long term damage to the coal industry in eastern Kentucky and, IMO, it will never recover. The future of the coal industry lies mostly in the western states. There will always be some demand for the high quality coal of central Appalachia, but coal's best days are behind it and Obama made sure of that."

So, here we are and according to you there are only 52 thousand coal mining jobs in the entire US. And heaven knows there is no way your assertion could possibly be wrong, much less an ax grinding manipulation to make yourself look to be the real authority on the matter. And relative to the last paragraph of this post, let us not overlook the fact that I said "coal mining jobs," and you changed that to "coal miners." But now let us review this thing as it actually unfolded, if you will recall the following was one of my sources;

You say YOU'RE right (52 thousand coal jobs), SourceWatch is wrong (174 thousand coal jobs) and of course to fulfill the ultimate aim of your obsession, I am wrong. And giving yourself a complete pass with honesty, you'll very merrily distort, dismiss, or otherwise run over facts that don't suit your cause, calling your rivals liars. BTW, that is the only name calling going on around here.

One more thing, and I know YOU already know this because after all, you're Hoot Gibson. But according to SourceWatch coal mining jobs are not limited to just the guys who ride the mine cars down into the mine. There are also jobs in transportation, and power plant employment. I would add specialized equipment vendors and manufacturing to that number, along with many others.
