104,000 new coal mining jobs have not been created since Trump took office and it does not matter who, if anybody, reported that number. The official numbers are available directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Ignoring a fact won't change it.

Trump deserves credit for our improved economy but distorting the tale of the tape does the GOP no favors. Trump, his advisers, and his supporters should stick to the indisputable job statistics - not repeat easily discredited claims. That was Obama's M.O.

Listen, I understand how impossible it is for you to get over yourself. If the number turns out to be less than 104 thousand so be it. I didn’t report the number though I freely admit that I did repeat it. Nor did I bother to vet my sources against labor statistics, especially in view of the fact that like you, I was not present to see the manner in which they arrived at their numbers. Further, you can deny The Hill is nobody and I’m fine with that too.
