^^ Kentucky is headed for some hard times if a governor like Bevin is not around to oversee our financial recovery. Revamping the tax code and reassessment of property (for the purpose of increasing taxes) are both still on the back burner. And I worry that Bevin going to DC may be good for the Congress but bad for Kentucky.


McConnell isn't going anywhere until 2020 either, but I guarantee his intent is to ride herd on President Trump until his first term is up. At which time he thinks he can help defeat Trump even if it's at the hand of a socialist like Sanders, a race baiter like Booker, or a bozo like Biden.
