What's asinine is having Cross Country and Track & Field split in to three classes. Let's not forget about the eight different team state championships awarded for Competitive Cheer as well as awarding a Boys & Girls Sweet 16 cheer leading state championship.

Boys Swimming & Diving has been won every season since 1987 by St. Xavier. I realize Swimming & Diving may not be the most popular sport offered by the KHSAA, but the same school winning the team state title for 31 straight years is insane.

Volleyball has never been won by a public school. 39 seasons and not one team state title has been won by a public school.

These are the best examples for a Public/Private split in certain sports. Two different sports, one boys and one girls sport, that have both been dominated by private schools for over thirty consecutive years.

Oh I agree sports need to be classed, just not 6 public and 2 private or whatever.
