I won't be surprised if they don't pull the trigger until the end of the school year. It's not an ideal situation for a lot of teams, but it's not a death sentence by any means.
With funds in schools being what they are, I won't be surprised if later and later hires are much more common. Coupled with the fact that there isn't an insane amount of people who are wanting to be high school coaches.
