I agree with the part that the east will more competitive this year in the finals but don’t agree KCD was the second best team in 1A nobody can compare scores and tell until they meet head to head. If you are comparing scores Williamsburg beat KCD by 20 so would that make them the 4th or 5th best team in 1A. I personally don’t think you can compare scores and tell and they may have been the 2nd best but we don’t know. Even in certain games teams lose but when they play again the other team wins show us that on even given night what can happen. Most of the time yes the better team wins but it can’t be taken for granted. At least on that night they were the better team, but with that said go PANTHERS!!!

KCD lost 2 games last year, to Beechwood and LCA, they didn't play Williamsburg. I'm not sure what you are referring to. KCD was the 2nd best team in 1A. Hazard would have been if injuries didn't derail them. Injuries derailed Beechwood in 2015, unfortunately they are part of the game and impact 1A schools more than others. You are correct, you can't compare scores, but you can evaluate teams, and KCD was number 2 in 1A.
