I call it what it is. A democratic party theft. Bevins didn't lie..He ran on his promise to fix the problem..And won in a landslide fueled by the confidence of the majority of Kentuckians that he would do that very thing . It's not his fault the liberal democrat Bonnie & Clydes stole the money.

The nature of promises is they are immuned from changing circumstances. There was a direct retirement system in place with public education. There are other things he could have done and avoided this battle. Avoid wars you can not win and never raise your flag for an asinine cause. He surely will lose election, and go down in history as a lame duck - teacher hater.
