When I was around 19 there was a party at my house when my parents were gone and one of my buddies got drunk and ate plastic fruit out my mom’s decorative bowls which resulted in a ER trip and our malfeasance coming to light. Your better than me, my wife said I didn’t grow up till I was 26. I also agree with your statement 100 percent kids will be kids till they get hit in the mouth by life, and this incident could have been what makes this young man grow up.
