Corbin vs South Laurel 3/5/18 (13th Region Championship Game)

Also seen a horrible block call on Caleb that put him on the bench during a crucial late fourth quarter run by Doss.

But it was length at all positions that hurt the most. But I know that doesn’t square with your simple narrative that SL’s offense was shoot and rebound. Guess it worked wonders when they upset Christian co and destroyed a decent South Oldham in the Elite Eight 🙄👌

The wonder boy coach should've figured out a way to get his bigs more involved, or let Ramey shoot a few more threes to soften up their defense. Instead he let the point guard hang out at the top of the key and that is where the superior length of Doss took over.

To me, saying that you lost because you were less athletic is the same as saying you lost because your coach didn't know how to play to your strengths. South was the better basketball team.

The Christian county line is bogus, they were the most over rated team in the state that year. They only lost two games in the regular season, but they didn't play a single team that made it to rupp other than south. South beat who they were supposed to until they met Doss. A good coach would've been able to get them past Doss.
