Grade School Ball And Their Coaches!!!!
ballfan87 Wrote:The best players are usually the ones who go unnoticed. Without their chance to play who knows where potential has been missed. I know it is very hard to get volunteer coaches for Youth League Organizations because the pay is very bad. But coaches have to realize the impact they have on young player. They could be the person who turns a young person around or be the one who destroys their self esteem. Youth league is meant for all kids not just the coaches' kids

The first thing that Bobby Keith did at Clay County when He was hired, was to start a Jr.Pro program. Look where it took him. How abut the epitome of all late bloomers...none other than Michael Jordan himself. He wasn't that much of an impact player early in his playing career.....late bloomer. Point is...how can you tell who is goingt to be a "GREAT" player or not at that age. So why not give every player the benefit of the doubt...play them.
