Yeah, Hoskins' points at Perry wouldn't count for Clay or the 13th Region.

I certainly don’t disagree with that, I just know last year when Peyton Broughton was passing 3000 points it was widely reported the three in front of him from the 13th were Thomas, Hoskins and Gritton, (although I know you knew better).
In the KHSAA record books, Hoskins is listed as Clay Co., not MC Napier/Clay Co., I would guess that’s where the confusion comes in, a lot of the younger guys reporting these days probably had no idea he didn’t spend his entire career at Clay.
On another note, Cox went on and became the all-time leading scorer at Vandy I’m pretty sure, without ever having the three-pointer in effect in his college career, am I right about that? He and I graduated in same year, and I was just in awe of his abilities as a scorer.
