Isn't Knott County Central a 3A football school? They are playing in the All A. I'd like to see the All A be just single A schools.

The tournament started as Class A football schools and several small schools that didn't have football, but that was when football was four classes, instead of six.
The tournament would lose too much money if you kicked out that many schools. It may be a little too easy to get in now, but the tournament hasn't changed that much since the early days.
