Theowing out different scenarios like this only proves my point- But I'll play along. Boyd wins- but- not because of the player switch- because Fraley wouldn't have 5 girls standing around the 3 point line watching Robinson " go to work". He'd be running plays to fit his talent. And- to further that- Shears and Paynter would both avg 20 or more and get more shots. And Wheeler would average around 35 or more if she were a Kitten. One thing I didn't understand last game- why did Robinson not guard Wheeler? My answer would be that he didn't want Robinson in foul trouble- and I've seen Wheeler do that to the best defenders in the state. Both girls excellent talents and fun to watch and I'm sure both will have excellent College careers. But as far as 16th Region HS players go- Wheeler quite possibly will be a 3 time MOP winner.
